SYNOPSIS: After the death of his adopted father, João begins the search for his biological mother who abandoned him nearly 40 years ago in the Mato Grosso country-side. The clues found in this small countryside town bring him back to the capital, only through physical and emotional paths which change his convictions and prejudices. After frustrating attempts, João finds his mother and their reconnection is intense, painful, and fierce, bringing up anguishes and revelations which will affect both their lives forever.A current and recurrent story, which places the themes of family, social violence and sexuality in evidence. A conflict that attempts to recover a life without the answers that adoption created and the emotional battle reflected in João’s health, results in revenge, that purges the demons of a hidden and violated past.
