TROPEROS • 2018

DIRECTOR: Nicolas Detry

COUNTRY: Argentina

RUNTIME: '71

SYNOPSIS: The documentary shows the work of the gauchos in a solitary and isolated valley of southern Patagonia, the sacrifice of a profession headed towards extinction. Through the story of the herders during the course of a year, we´ll see the work that is carried out in each season, including the crude Patagonian winter and the drive of six thousand sheep in autumn and spring. We´ll listen incredible anecdotes about experiences in the countryside and reflections about their most intimate feelings, in a land where man and animal have a very close relationship of work and survival.
