But the rose ends up hurting her. She begins to bleed. The woman gets scared trying to understand, but she it beaten violently by an invisible force. She responds to the blow in a desperate dance, defending herself, fighting, facing it, but she can’t find her attacker. She is beaten, mistreated and raped. The woman asks us for help, but this anonymous reality murders her.

SYNOPSIS: Avdel feeds his family by working with Bozo, his donkey, in the sanitation service of the city of Mardin in Turkey. Avdel’s sister and her son Salih, who fled from Syria because of the war, are now staying at Avdel's house. Bozo is old and so is retired by the municipality; Avdel must find a younger donkey to keep his work. To help his uncle, Salih slips over the border into Syria to bring back his own donkey, which he had to leave behind due to the war. However, to accomplish this mission, Salih must cross with his donkey through the minefields.

On this difficult journey, which involves going out and entering the country, crossing customs and the Strait of Magellan, Juan has a companion, a particular northern peasant, who despite the inconvenience of his presence, makes him reflect on the uprooting and the distance with his family.
