DIRECTOR: Berkay Türk
COUNTRY: France
RUNTIME: '3
SYNOPSIS: Misery's music-video paints a dystopian portrait of a monitored and authoritarian society in which the characters hide their emotions and expressions behind emoticons. These masks illustrate the uniformity of this society and also serve as a parable, a symbol of the omnipotence and predominance of social networks. These iconic representations, the new opium of the people, have invaded all fields of the society, up to art and religion. However, disparities have not disappeared, but this allegory also reflects the purpose of the discourse, the denial of reality.
